Summary: Looking for a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (AWS) with min 4+ years of experience.
As a member of the Managed Service team, you will be working with our amazing Operation Engineers, Database Engineers and Network Engineers to dive in and tackle the hardest technical challenges. You will excel in an agile environment while collaborating with some of the smartest people in the industry, who gets excited about owning critical infrastructure services that serve global enterprise-scale customers every second of the day.
Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams to meet our customers’ individual needs for their infrastructure and application deployments.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure deployments, recreate customer issues, and build proof of concept environments that abide by cloud-best-practices. Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers’ individual needs.
Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that will span multiple AWS services.
Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow AWS Engineers to operate safely at high speed and wide scale.
Identify and drive improvements to process and technical related issues. Act as an escalation point and/or mentor to those your junior.
Leverage your day-to-day experiences to provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams.
Drive customer communication during critical events.
Learn and leverage groundbreaking technologies.
4+ years’ experience in a systems administration, engineering or operations.
Experience configuring, managing or troubleshooting systems of scale (cloud, virtualization, distributed networks, colocation..)
Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems skills
Experience in Networking (e.g. Deploying and troubleshooting LAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience
AWS experience with production workloads
Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
Experience with some aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography, etc…
Experience with Configuration Management Software (we love Chef and Ansible, what about you?).
Scripting and / or programming experience with at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Ruby, Python, Bash)
Experience with IAM, Active Directory and ADFS
Experience in a DevOps team, supporting CI/CD workloads.

Operating Azure IaaS Services planning and recommendations (Monitoring, Securing Scan, Back and restore, Remote Access to Azure VMs, Automating Operational Procedures)
Migration of existing VMs and services to Azure planning
Planning for testing and failover (depending on the Migration tool being used)
Migration to Azure recommendations and planning
Azure Governance planning using Azure policies
Planning for tagging resources for better Azure management
